A little about us

We created A Little Space because we know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or quietly depleted while showing up for the people you love. We’ve been there — in the noise, the tenderness, the intensity of it all.

Our tools aren’t advice. They’re small, practical supports designed for you. To meet you where you are with what you need; to help you come back to yourself in the middle of a busy day

Jon Cheetham

Jon Cheetham, VetMB PhD DipACVS, is a co-founder of A Little Space LLC and a former surgeon and Associate Professor at Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Over his career, he raised more than $10M in research funding and led a lab investigating the immune response to peripheral nerve injury. He was also an equine surgeon, focusing on the problems of the upper airway.

While working in high-stakes clinical, research and leadership roles, Jon started learning some transformative tools: presence, emotional regulation, self-awareness, and holding a relational field.

That realization became the seed for A Little Space LLC: a place where people in demanding roles can access the same powerful skills used by senior leaders—distilled into short, practical tools that help them recover steadiness, focus, and a sense of space when things feel intense.

Jon brings a scientist’s curiosity and evidence-based mindset to the emotional realities of performance and pressure, helping make complex ideas about calm, resilience, and recovery feel simple, human, and doable in daily life.
